If you require settlement support beyond UCCA’s employment services, our staff will connect you with the appropriate settlement provider based on your language preference:
For newcomers who prefer services in English, UCCA partners with Catholic Social Services (CSS) through the Newcomer and Refugee Settlement Support Services (NAARS) program.
For French-speaking newcomers, UCCA partners with the Francophone Reception and Integration Program (FRAP) to ensure clients receive services in their preferred official language.
Under the NAARS program, these organizations can assess your settlement needs, provide a lot of information through orientations, lead to community connections, and refer multiple community resources to support you with education, healthcare, housing, and transportation.
